THE CHALLENGE

During the early COVID-19 pandemic, hospitals, and vulnerable communities faced severe PPE shortages. Traditional supply chains could not keep up with the demand, leaving healthcare workers and at-risk populations without essential protection.

MasksNowIL emerged as a volunteer-led production and logistics network designed to coordinate material donations, mask production, and statewide distribution.

    Coordinated material donations from businesses, manufacturers, and community partners to support rapid mask production at scale.

    Developed standardized packaging and quality control workflows to support safe and reliable distribution.
